Outdoor Gardens on the Move

Imagine having the ideal in gardens: shaded in the hot summer and sunny in the cool to cold winter. A desirable ambiance for any garden can be created using a garden on wheels. You can better control climate conditions with a garden on wheels.

You can better control climate conditions with a garden on wheels. If the temperature gets too hot—well up in the 100’s in our desert heat—you can move your plantings to a shady or protected area. If the winter weather is too nippy, your garden boxes can be moved into the garage. You can create these conditions just by considering the use of a garden box on wheels. There are garden boxes to suit every need and taste: single or multilevel boxes, a foot or waist high from the ground, etc. Whatever your choice, they add a decorative beauty to a patio or larger yard.

These planter boxes are generally made of redwood or cedar and can last for years. The many rewards of picking fresh, organic veggies right outside your backdoor are many. Plants contain valuable plant energy also known as systemic enzymes. They retain that energy for up to three days after harvesting.

After three days, their energy begins to decline. Even though veggies may appear fresh after a week from picking, the transferable energy is lessened and continues to decline. So they are best freshly picked.

Vibrant and delicious tomatoes, lettuce, peas, chard, fennel, chives, mint, marjoram, and basil are just a few of the veggies and herbs to consider planting in a “Garden on Wheels.” So be creative and enjoy!
